Job Description –
A vacancy has arisen within a small to medium sized elderly mental health facility in Dorset. The company is looking to recruit an additional Deputy Home Manager, in an effort to restructure the care provision team.
This service offers a warm and friendly environment where successful applicants would be responsible for working with a multi-disciplined team of care professionals to ensure that service users are receiving high quality, clinically appropriate treatment 24 hours a day.
Most residents at this facility suffer from severe and enduring functional mental health complications and/or complex needs. The service also has the facility to treat people detained under the Mental Health Act.
Person Specification –
Applicants for this post must be registered as a Mental Health Nurse (RMN), with solid experience in a prior nursing or management position. Applicants do not need to have previous management experience, though must be able to demonstrate the ability to lead a team. Applicants must have a good understanding of the current requirements of the CQC. Applicants must be able to be reasonably flexible with their ability to work various shifts, including the occasional weekend, night or bank holiday shift. Applicants must also hold a valid PIN and be eligible to live and work in the UK.
