Job Description – We are seeking a skilled and experienced RNLD qualified nurse with management experience, to take a post as a deputy manager within a new facility in Scunthorpe. The facility in question is a new 12 person service for people with learning disabilities. Although privately run, the service’s overriding purpose is to enable the council to support individuals in returning to their own local area nurture links and relationships with families and friends. The successful candidate will provide essential support and assistance in all hospital management issues. Whilst ensuring the delivery of top class nursing care you'll also be responsible the assessment and development of patient care plans. The successful applicant will also act as a benchmark, setting nursing quality standards for the rest of the nursing team to follow. This will require being involved in staff supervision, teaching programmes and staff appraisals.
Person Specification – Applicants must have a LD Nursing qualification and a valid PIN. Applicants are expected to have solid LD Nursing experience, ideally including prior management or leadership experience. Applicants must have eligibility to live and work in the UK.
