Job Description –
This particular facility offers mental health related nursing care to adults and adolescents. Patients may be suffering from mild or moderate mental health issues such as anxiety attacks or stress. The hospital also caters for those suffering from more serious or complicated psychiatric illness such as addiction, depression or psychotic illness. The hospital has a capacity to cater for over 50 patients.
The main purpose of this role is to professionally manage and coordinate the quality of the clinical environment, including the management of nursing care and general patient care, as well as management of all staff on the ward. The successful applicant will participate fully with the team, including undertaking direct patient care. Additionally, the ward manager will be responsible for communicating with purchasers of the unit services, including contractual requirements.
